ANZAC BISCUIT RECIPE

Kristen's Grandmas Anzac Biscuits

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup coconut
  • 125 grams butter
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water

Method:

Combine oats, flour, sugar and coconut. Combine butter, Golden Syrup over gentle heat until melted. Mix bicarb soda and boiling water, add to butter mixture and stir in dry ingredients. Take teaspoons of mixture and place on a lightly greased tray, cook for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.

Enjoy with a nice cuppa!
